Program Description: in this new Clinical Support Program, Rising Ground will embed licensed professionals specializing in mental health, substance misuse, and intimate partner violence directly into child protective work in Brooklyn. These clinicians will collaborate closely with ACS staff and families to assess needs, provide tailored service recommendations, and ensure families are connected to appropriate supports. By integrating clinical expertise into frontline decision-making, Rising Ground will play a vital role in enhancing child safety and strengthening family outcomes across the borough. Responsibilities of the Position:  The full-time Program Director is responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing operations of the Clinical Support Program (CSP) within Brooklyn ACS field offices. The Director oversees the delivery of clinical consultation, training, and support services addressing mental health, substance use, and intimate partner violence concerns impacting families served by ACS. This includes direct supervision of Clinical Supervisors and administrative oversight of the multi-disciplinary CSP team. This position is remote work eligible in accordance with Rising Ground’s Remote Work Policy and requires regular in-person presence across assigned ACS field offices in Brooklyn. Occasional travel to other agency sites or meetings may also be required. Core responsibilities include: * Work collaboratively with a senior team to create and implement a program model that meets the complex needs of families presenting to Child Protective Services, including mental health, substance use and intimate partner violence needs * Create policies, procedures and program protocols for all aspects of the work * Act as the liaison between ACS, CPS and Rising Ground’s CSS program * Help to create meaningful relationships and easy access for both internal and external referrals, working collaboratively with our Access and Referral Department * Provide clinical and administrative supervision to 3 clinical supervisors managing mental health clinicians, intimate partner violence specialists and certified substance abuse counselors * Recruit, hire and onboard all new staff * Provide opportunities for clinical growth to the CSS team by: * Facilitating in house trainings * Seeking and coordinating the bringing in of outside trainings * Oversee the collection of detailed program data and the creation of timely and accurate reports that are submitted to funders, Rising Ground’s PEM department, and other stakeholders as necessary * Collaborate on all contract management work including budget modifications and expenditure tracking * Actively engage with all internal and external stakeholders * Identify opportunities for program improvement and evolution * Participate in all relevant internal and external meetings * Provide after hour coverage for consultation, as needed * Other duties as required Qualifications for the Position: * LCSW or Licensed Psychologist required * Experience/expertise in Intimate Partner Violence and/or Substance Use along with Mental Health preferred * Experience and comfort with Evidence Based Models and multiple assessment measures * Supervision and management experience required * Meaningful commitment to practicing from a healing-centered, family-driven, anti-oppressive stance * Highly organized, self-motivated worker who can easily manage competing demands * Creative problem-solver who anticipates challenges and seizes opportunities for collaboration * Able to implement vision, think strategically, exercise good judgment, and lead change * High level of self-awareness and ability to give and receive feedback well * Familiarity with Connections and PROMIS databases preferred * Impeccable attention to detail, systems, and processes * Ability to work with flexibility, independence, accountability, passion, and humor Supervisory Responsibility: Yes Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Exempt/9am–5pm, with availability for after hour consultation Travel (if required): Travel to various program sites, as needed Other Duties:  Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
