Description

The Business Development division is accountable for driving the strategy and execution of the business development activities of ADGM. The Business Development Division has 3 Strategic clusters and many sub-clusters. The Director role heads a cluster/key sub-cluster .
The Director is responsible for attracting businesses within the cluster to ADGM and for building functional and subject matter expertise capabilities and the team required to drive successful Business Development initiatives for the assigned cluster.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the strategy and growth plan of the cluster and ensure alignment with the overall Business Development’s strategy to achieve the divisional objectives.

Target Clients, Clusters, and regions management

  • Identify and map anchor and strategic clients for the cluster and sub-clusters.
  • Identify and build relationships with strategic market partners – Intermediaries, advisors and Industry bodies etc
  • Set growth targets, and success factors for driving new client acquisition.
  • Ensure Record, Review and report Cluster pursuits, activities and progress.
  • Gather market intelligence on current and future needs of target clients.
  • Key KPI includes anchor clients, total clients, AUM, eminence and workforce for the cluster.

Value proposition management and internal processes improvements

  • Help enhancement of ADGM’s cluster offering by developing innovative offerings and improving the content of and market awareness of ADGM sectorial value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the development initiatives and business development activities with ADGM and authority-specific regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on solutions and services offered by competitors.
  • Identify potential development areas in processes and systems. Suggest changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the client experience and the acquisition, on-boarding, retention, relationship management operating model for the respective cluster.

Information Security related

  • Understand, adopt, adhere and practice responsibilities or controls as per ADGM Information Security policy and as per best practices explained in the induction and awareness sessions.
  • Confidentiality, Integrity and availability of the ADGM Information shall be maintained at all times i.e. within as well as outside ADGM.
