SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Communications, content, branding, programming or related fields.
  • Creative and storytelling mindset combined with a deep understanding of commercial real estate.
  • Extensive experience in contributing to and overseeing design and execution of complex integrated marketing campaigns and pitches.
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape.
  • Vision for aligning creative projects with the company and project-specific brand missions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working in a highly cross-functional or matrixed organizations combined with a high degree of collaboration in a process-driven environment.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, internal clients, influencers, vendors, and agencies.
  • Self-directed team player with the ability to effectively manage both ambiguity and aggressive timelines for projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be deadline-focused, organized, and exhibit problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments, regions, and time zones.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Commercial Creative Marketing. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Brand and Communications and a deep understanding of the real estate industry. This role requires someone who is strategically minded, combining analytical and creative thinking to produce campaigns, content, pitch decks and innovative programming for real estate audiences. Success in this position requires a passion for excellence, creativity, data, meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to provide innovative solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team, cross-functional stakeholders and agencies to create integrated campaigns, content, multimedia assets, print collateral and digital assets to build awareness and engagement of Houston master planned communities.
  • Conceptualize new programming for prospective and current residents, tenants, builders, brokers and realtors that effectively promote our communities and assets to drive engagement, leasing and sales.
  • Partner with the internal teams and agencies on pitches and proposal creations for leasing, sales and strategic development.
  • Oversee and manage new branding projects for development.
  • Craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique aspects of our properties and position The Woodlands, The Woodland Hills and Bridgeland as best-in-class places to live and do business.
  • Understand the competitive landscape in the commercial and residential real estate space to differentiate our products and services in the market and develop materials that are unique and forward-thinking.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to establish schedules for short-term and long-term projects, plan tasks accordingly, and ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Stay informed about current and future real estate trends, emerging marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, innovative industry solutions, retail brands, popular restaurants, and entertainment.
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, influencers, and freelancers as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate brand strategy and utilize high-level company goals in all creative endeavors.
  • Partner with local and national leasing teams as well as various economic development groups to promote our communities as the ideal home families and businesses.
