What the day will look like Drive the negotiation and placement of insurance/reinsurance contracts, producing desktop & market quotations and lead terms, for the Specialty; Apply market expertise to design, deliver, innovate and place new/expanded business opportunities, renewals and mid-term adjustments and claims to improve market competitiveness, drive growth and optimal outcomes clients Partner with Aon resources (Sales & Marketing, Specialty Team, GBC network and in-Country teams) to deliver the widest practical range of insurance solutions and services to client. Provide thought contributions to tender responses for the Specialty to ensure timely submission and quality of reports Ensure implementation of broking excellence initiatives including: Client Promise; Sales / Cross Selling; Wording/Slip standardization; Standard Contracts; Data Quality; Broking operations process flow; Carrier / market engagements. Managing key carrier relationships to secure optimum outcome for client risk coverage Contribute to key thought leadership content for our clients and markets, and demonstrate understanding and insight into the industry, clients, risks and solutions. Contribute to up to date marketing materials on carrier appetite and solutions available to Specialty clients; Contribute to regular "State of the Market" reports for the Specialty updating on market trends and losses relevant to the Specialty. Ensure knowledge and best practice approaches are captured, documented and shared to ensure resiliency in the broking function for the Specialty Responsibility to ensure that all broking / placement activity is in compliance with MAS regulations and Aon Company Policy and Guidelines. Skills and experience that will lead to success At least 10 years’ broking experience either in wholesale or retail markets Degree with ACII / AAII qualification or equivalent (but not essential) Excellent communication and presentation skills with external markets and internally with our network offices in the region Meticulous, hardworking and a go-getter with good interpersonal skills Ability to develop and maintain business relationships Demonstrates knowledge of the Insurance industry within the APAC region How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
