Company Description Wynn Design & Development (WDD) is responsible for creating the designs that are known as the Wynn “look”. WDD encompasses: Construction, Design, Warehouse and Architecture. Job Description Wynn Resorts is in search of a brilliant Leader that has intense knowledge in construction finance along with providing guidance to the team by reviewing and auditing WDD’s financial records. We are seeking someone who has superior financial statement skills – able to prepare and analyze budgets. Ability to maintain a high-level of strategic thinking – very capable of defining problems and draw valid conclusions. Capable of analyzing and presenting complex information clearly and communicating quickly through various methods. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures the Wynn’s core values and property standards are implemented and applied: Care about everyone and everything Show never ending attention to detail Take responsibility; don't leave it to others Always strive to be better Held accountable, to a very high degree, for departmental performance Reviews and audits all WDD financial Records; conducts forecasting and reporting year of year revenues and expenses Establishes and implements short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness; implements changes required for improvement. Identifies key drivers of success Responsible for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports Monitors all activities of the department to ensure that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced Creates and administers departmental operating budget and financial controls. Responsible for financial planning, forecast, labor, and payroll for areas of responsibility Ensures departments deliver and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction. Oversees all hiring, performance management, and employee engagement within the department. Provides training opportunities, constructive and positive feedback to team members within their area of responsibility Creates a motivating environment Keeps informed of all new developments within the department and makes recommendations designed to maximize department and company success.
