POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As Director Consulting Services for our Space activities you are integrally responsible for your customers, your team and operational activities. You lead your own space business, as part of the company and contribute to the customer-oriented and successful character of CGI. Does this appeal to you and do you have experience in this area?

For our fast growing Space Unit we are looking for leadership to support our growth in the EU space eco system. Our space experience and main focus is in the navigation and telecom domain in both upstream and downstream. In CGI we are expert driven teams that are fully responsible for their part of the business, under your leadership.

For this role we are looking at people/ entrepreneurs that have experience with:

• Delivery

o You are experienced in managing complex international (space) projects;
o You are aware of de system engineering approach for mission critical systems;
o You can work according to waterfall, agile and hybrid;

o You have a good feeling with international stakeholder management.

• Operations

o Run your business as your own profit and loss responsibilities;

o Coach your team colleagues to their next level.

• Business Development

o Create (new) business with your client;

o Stakeholder management.

• People management

o You understand what engineers drive;
o You support your team members in their careers;
o You actively engage the team members in the delivery;
o You make your team more professional and involved in the way the team is engaged with the client.
