Responsibilities
  1. Development, coordination and management of training programs, events and projects including budgeting and associated media and
    communications.
  2. Oversee the implementation of a media and public affairs strategy, ensuring communication of consistent and accurate messages to all stakeholders
    via the media.
  3. Development, coordination and management of video content for training, internal and external audiences, and strategic messaging — including
    storyline development, production coordination and editing to ensure effective communication.
  4. Liaise with internal officers and external stakeholders in developing and distributing public broadcast materials.
  5. Build and maintain a strong professional network across, the Northern Territory (NT) and Australian Governments with local and national media and
    major project stakeholders.
  6. Provide high-level specialist writing and editing expertise to assist in production of keynote addresses, speeches, and publishable items of
    significance to the NT and Australian government.
  7. Employ expert research and analytical skill to identify and verify source material for articles and other communications of significance.
  8. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure
    high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  9. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
