Description
Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a UAE National candidate for our client for the above-mentioned role based in Abu Dhabi. 1) Lead and manage the development, implementation and administration of Corporate IT plans, strategy, operating budget, policies and procedures and all related reporting standards ensuring alignment to Organization's overall business strategy and consistency across locations. 2) Collaborate with Director IT Upstream and ensure effective consolidation of the overall IT budget and plans in line with Organization’s strategic objectives and strategies. 3) Act as an advisor to the senior management and executive team on all corporate IT matters to facilitate achievement of business goals. Provide guidance to Organization's Qatar IT team in order to facilitate effective alignment of standards across all IT functions and to support establishment of processes in line with the corporate guidelines. Ensure effective standardization and alignment in terms of skills, technology and processes across IT departments in UAE and in Qatar. 4) Ensure effective contribution of all IT services to address critical challenges, sustainability efforts and key business objectives of entity as per the overall corporate strategy and business plan. 5) Provide leadership, coaching and direction to corporate IT management team and staff. Direct and guide the activities of the assigned personal, guide efforts aimed at achieving IT division objectives. 6) Build relationships and create synergies across the organization to favor secure, cost effective and valuable shared solutions. 7) Direct the design and implementation of IT standards, governance processes and industry best practices. 8) Endorse and approve the effective development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance and control processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure provision of high-quality IT services in accord with defined quality standards and SLAs. 9) Provide overall direction to the IT Technology Solutions function to ensure the effective coordination with the business to identify emerging IT requirements, direct and guide business relationships, and portfolio management while advising on emerging technological trends and state-of-the-art solutions to effectively meet business requirements. 10) Ensure alignment between upstream and downstream by focusing on added value solutions (communication and collaboration, decision making, business process automation, mobility) in collaboration with Automation department. 11) Ensure effective collaboration with the Corporate Information Security and the implementation of IT security policies and systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations and ensure the reliability and integrity of data across the organization. 12) Provide overall direction to the development and management of IT services sourcing strategy, vendor management policies & guidelines in order to ensure achievement of IT requirements, in accordance to statutory/ entity’s policies with optimum benefits to the organization. 13) Provide overall direction to IT operations so that it meets and exceeds the service levels agreed with users and conforms to relevant technical and security standards within budgeted cost. Ensure optimization of IT quality of services and maximize end users' satisfaction. 14) Build social and fiscal responsibility across IT division. Provide professional advice and support to all levels of the business on the full range of IT issues to ensure that the IT capability of the business is optimized. 15) Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by senior management.
