Responsibilities

The Quality, Safety and Governance team provides leadership for corporate and quality and safety, assurance, and governance systems and processes, supporting all other clinical and operational areas within the Canberra Health Services Network to deliver exceptional health care. It includes Quality and Safety, National Standards and Accreditation, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance, Medico Legal, Corporate Records, Policy and Strategy areas. The Director, Corporate Records and Information Governance is part of the broader Quality, Safety and Governance team, and reports to the Senior Director, Policy and Strategic Projects. This role will support the identification, development, and management of corporate records and associated information, to ensure best practice and compliance with the Territory Records Act. Collaboration with the CHS Health Information Service and Decision Support Unit, Chief Ministers Treasury and Economic Development Directorate, and Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD), will also be key to ensure alignment of corporate and clinical record functions.
