About the Department Our Data Engineering team builds secure, scalable platforms that power business insights and innovation. Core Responsibilities: You will define and execute the data engineering vision and roadmap. You will hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data engineers. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and platforms. You will collaborate with business teams, analysts, product, and information technology teams. You will enforce data quality, security, privacy, and compliance policies. You will evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve data capabilities. You will oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Teams & Collaboration: You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, and technology partners daily. What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role? Experience, Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years in data engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles. Expertise in data architecture, extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Snowflake. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed processing tools such as Spark or Hadoop. Strong knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations. Technical Skills: Experience with real-time data engineering and streaming technologies. Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic decisions. Work Shift Timings - 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM IST with flexible start options. Hybrid work arrangement based in Hyderabad.
