Strategic Leadership: Develop a strategy and operating model(s) for auditing dealership activities (compliance with the franchise agreement), leveraging data analytics, automation, professional standards, and audit technology to continuously improve audit efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage. Audit Plan and Audit Execution: Conduct comprehensive assessment leading to an annual risk-based dealer audit plan. Deliver the annual audit plan with rigorous review of audit working papers, findings, and recommendations for accuracy. Deliver high-quality audit reports to dealers. Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including dealers, Marketing management, and other functions. Act as a trusted advisor offering proactive insights and guidance on risk management, and controls. Reporting and Governance: Use relevant data to drive insightful communication with various internal stakeholders including Marketing leadership, regional management, and the Audit Committee leading to improvements in the control environment. Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop a team of dealer auditors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Marketing). Certifications: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA is preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or marketing incentives within a large, multinational organization. Background in automotive, dealership / franchise, or marketing incentive compliance preferred. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver operating objectives, working with cross-functional teams, and influencing stakeholders. Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of internal control frameworks and professional auditing standards or a commitment to learn.
