Job Title Director, Detection Platform Job Description As Director, Detection Platform, you will own the vision, technical roadmap, and execution for Detection Platforms across the CT and AMI product line. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple sites, drive technology strategy, ensure operational excellence, and build strong engineering capabilities to support current and future business needs. Your role: Lead and manage the global Detection Platform organization, with direct teams in Haifa and indirect resources across Philips Research, PDPC, and external partners. Define and execute the technology and platform roadmap across CT and AMI, driving common platforms and component reuse across the portfolio and Healthcare businesses. Oversee engineering execution for new product introductions and sustaining engineering, ensuring quality, reliability, manufacturability, performance, cost, and schedule targets are met. Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally within R&D on resource planning, priorities, and delivery against business objectives. Build and maintain strong technical capabilities in CT and AMI systems, detection technologies, and calibration to resolve complex technical challenges. Own departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans, and cost control. Ensure compliance with applicable medical and industry standards throughout the development lifecycle. Lead, develop, and retain top talent, manage performance, and promote an inclusive and high-performing culture. Act as a key representative of Philips Healthcare with customers, suppliers, and industry partners. You're the Right Fit if You Have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field (Master’s or higher is a plus). 12+ years of experience in development of multidisciplinary products in high‑technology environment (preferably with a strong focus on detector technology innovation within medical devices or other regulated industries). 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. Proven ability to deliver high-quality, predictable project execution. Strong technical and people management skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, assertiveness, negotiation and influence management. Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive and customer levels. Ability to travel internationally *This position isn't open for relocation.
