POSITION OVERVIEW:
Tim’s Camps is seeking a strategic leader who will be responsible for overseeing an investment and subsequent update to our Digital and IT operations. The Director of Digital and IT will oversee the ongoing operations of our Digital and IT programs, systems and practices as updates are implemented. This role will be required to align people, processes, and resources to affect organizational change and drive operational excellence. This role will align IT and Digital initiatives and resources to support strategic objectives. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional departments while managing external vendor relationships. This position will lead the internal adoption of updated technologies and practices to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, requiring time in-office and working remotely. This role will be based out of the Foundation’s Home Office location in St. George, Ontario. Work in the Toronto office may be required as well as limited travel across North America.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in Digital and IT operations, vendor management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing outsourced IT models and service providers.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
- Expertise in data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Proficiency in analyzing and presenting operational metrics and KPIs.
- Experience with managing outsourced/offshore IT service providers.
- Ability to travel in Canada and the United States.
- Bilingual in French/English considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Vendor and Contract Management
- Serve as main point of contact for all external IT and Digital service providers.
- Negotiate and manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring adherence to agreed-upon outcomes.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and facilitate service improvement initiatives by analyzing metrics to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.
- IT Operations Oversight
- Monitor the performance of outsourced functions, including helpdesk, ticket management, database maintenance, and patching processes.
- Oversee and develop Foundation staff on the Digital/IT team.
- Ensure Foundation employees and camps have secure and highly available technology solutions.
- Oversee the resolution of escalated issues and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning and Alignment
- Align outsourced and in-house IT and Digital services with the organization’s goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to build a technology roadmap and plan and implement new initiatives, technologies, and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Ensure all IT and Digital operations comply with organizational policies, security standards, and data governance frameworks.
- Monitor adherence to data protection, data storage/retention and privacy regulations for all Digital and IT tools.
- Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments of outsourced and in-house operations.
- Team Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with internal teams to align expectations with outsourced providers.
- Act as the escalation point for communication between any outsourced providers and the organization.Foster collaboration across departments to integrate Digital and IT solutions with business needs.
- Budget and Cost Optimization
- Monitor and manage the Digital and IT budgets.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising on service quality or security.
