The Director Electrical and Industrial Sales is responsible for achieving the sales and gross margin budgets for one or more district’s electrical and industrial business. They will drive strategic direction from Corporate into field sales and marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the Corporate strategies and initiatives across the District.
  • Responsible for directing and providing quality sales support to all customers through Branch Managers, Managers Industrial Business, Sales Managers, Account Managers, Sales Representatives, and other personnel.
  • Direct National Account/Corporate Account activity at the district level to ensure conformance to National Agreement terms and conditions.
  • Review and approve applicable workflows.
  • Ensure the Company’s sales policies are followed.
  • Assist the District Vice President in preparing the district sales and gross margin budgets by location.
  • Ensure proper sales and support coverage to achieve assigned sales and margin budget by location.
  • Recommend salaries and assign changes for Sales Representatives and market/product employees to the District Vice President.
  • Work with managers to assign accounts to Sales Representatives.
  • In cooperation with Corporate, responsible for supplier selectivity within group of districts for the Company’s strategic suppliers.
