Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE…

Reporting to the VP, Global Pricing & Analysis, the Director, EMEA Pricing and Packaging Strategy and Analysis will lead the development and execution of pricing and packaging strategies across a diverse and evolving set of EMEA streaming markets. This role is critical to supporting HBO Max’s ambitious growth and financial targets in the region. The Director will be responsible for shaping market-specific pricing strategies, leading high-impact strategic initiatives, and serving as a key thought partner to senior stakeholders across the business. This position requires a highly analytical, strategic, and collaborative leader who can navigate complex partner ecosystems, regulatory environments, and diverse consumer behaviours to drive revenue and subscriber growth.
This role will support a broad and evolving portfolio of EMEA markets. Specific country assignments will be determined based on business needs, market launch timelines, and team capacity. The Director is expected to manage both mature and emerging markets, each with unique pricing, packaging, and regulatory considerations.

YOUR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES…

  • Develop business cases for EMEA Pricing and Packaging initiatives with the goal of optimizing subscriber growth, revenue, and long-term enterprise value across a diverse and expanding set of markets.
  • Collaborate with local and regional teams to gather inputs, lead analyses, and drive decision-making on pricing and packaging strategies for both existing and new market launches, including high-priority territories.
  • Lead strategic pricing initiatives, including competitive pricing assessments, innovative distribution assessments, and alternative monetization models.
  • Partner with Data Analytics and Finance to model and evaluate the subscriber and P&L impacts of pricing and packaging decisions, ensuring alignment with corporate growth targets.
  • Support cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Regional Leadership) by providing timely, data-driven pricing recommendations and communicating key assumptions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of regional pricing frameworks that reflect local market dynamics—such as ARPU sensitivity, churn behaviour, and regulatory constraints—while aligning with global strategy.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by improving turnaround time and accuracy of pricing analyses, strengthening local data quality, and supporting continuous model enhancements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Streaming and International teams to ensure pricing decisions are well-integrated with broader business initiatives.
