As the Director of Engineering in NYC, you will be leading teams building multiple products enabling our customers to use innovative ML/AI techniques to add value to their business. You will work closely with product and research on cutting-edge technologies and be responsible for launching and growing new products and play a key role in defining the future of how AI and Data applications are built. What we look for 10+ years of industry experience building and supporting large-scale data or production applications Experience building classic ML or GenAI systems. A passion for building and scaling early-stage products Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment. Motivated by delivering customer value and impact. Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience. Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
