At Strategy, you're not just another employee, you're a crucial part of a mission to push the boundaries of analytics and redefine financial investment Job Description Role Overview The Director of Engineering will define and execute the technical vision for enterprise-scale platforms spanning backend systems, modern web applications, and data ecosystems. This role is accountable for architecture governance, engineering excellence, cloud modernization, and scalable data platform integration (Snowflake and Databricks). Key Responsibilities Strategic & Organizational Leadership Define multi-year engineering strategy aligned to business objectives. Lead multiple engineering teams (frontend, backend, data integration). Establish delivery governance, KPIs, and operational excellence standards. Build leadership bench strength (Managers, Architects, Principals). Technical & Architecture Leadership Own Java-based microservices and distributed system architecture. Define scalable React frontend architecture standards. Drive cloud-native transformation (AWS/Azure/GCP). Oversee Snowflake data warehousing and Databricks data processing integration. Establish security, compliance, and observability standards. Operational Excellence Improve deployment frequency, release quality, and platform reliability. Drive DevOps maturity, automation, and CI/CD best practices. Align engineering with AI-driven product evolution and BI strategy. Required Expertise Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot, microservices, concurrency). Strong React platform architecture knowledge. Enterprise cloud architecture experience. Strong understanding of Snowflake and Databricks ecosystems. Preferred AI/ML integration strategy experience. Enterprise BI and analytics leadership.
