ROLE SUMMARY The Director, Observability & AIOps Solutions is responsible for building and scaling Loop1’s observability and AIOps solution capabilities, with an initial focus on BigPanda and related ecosystem tools.This role defines and operationalizes service offerings, establishes delivery standards, and enables consulting teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. The Director will also directly contribute to implementation and post-implementation engineering work as needed, particularly during the early stages of the practice.The role partners closely with Sales, Delivery, and Alliances to support growth, shape solutions, and ensure offerings are aligned with customer needs and market demand.This is a build-and-scale leadership role requiring a combination of technical depth, delivery experience, and commercial awareness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SOLUTION STRATEGY & OFFERING DEVELOPMENT * Define and evolve Loop1’s Observability and AIOps service portfolio, including advisory, implementation, and optimization services * Establish clear solution frameworks for event correlation, alert noise reduction, incident intelligence, and automation * Align offerings with partner ecosystems, with a primary focus on BigPanda * Identify opportunities to expand into adjacent tools and use cases over time DELIVERY EXCELLENCE & STANDARDIZATION * Create standardized delivery methodologies, playbooks, and reusable artifacts to ensure consistency and quality * Provide BigPanda implementation and post-implementation engineering services and support across customer engagements * Partner with delivery leadership to embed best practices across consulting teams * Establish metrics and benchmarks for solution performance, efficiency, and customer outcomes CAPABILITY BUILD & TEAM ENABLEMENT * Define required skillsets and support hiring and development of observability and AIOps talent * Enable consultants through structured training, documentation, and knowledge sharing * Act as a technical and strategic escalation point for complex engagements * Support the transition from individual contribution to team-based delivery as the practice scales SALES & PRE-SALES PARTNERSHIP * Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to shape opportunities and develop solution approaches * Translate customer requirements into scalable, repeatable solution designs * Support strategic accounts and key deals where AIOps and observability expertise is required * Contribute to positioning and differentiation of Loop1’s AIOps capabilities PARTNER ALIGNMENT * Work closely with BigPanda and other relevant partners to stay aligned on product capabilities and direction * Identify opportunities for joint offerings, accelerators, and go-to-market alignment * Represent Loop1 in partner engagements as a subject matter lead GROWTH & SCALE * Drive repeatability, scalability, and margin improvement through standardization and reuse * Identify opportunities to expand services into new industries, customers, or regions * Contribute to broader services strategy and long-term capability planning REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * 8–12+ years of experience in observability, IT operations, SRE, or related domains * Demonstrated experience with AIOps concepts including event correlation, alert noise reduction, and incident intelligence * Hands-on or solution-level experience with BigPanda or similar platforms * Experience delivering implementation and post-implementation engineering services * Proven ability to build or scale services offerings in a consulting or services environment * Experience partnering with Sales, Delivery, and Alliances to support growth LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS * Operates with a builder mindset and is comfortable working in ambiguity * Balances hands-on technical contribution with strategic leadership responsibilities * Drives clarity, structure, and accountability across teams * Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Demonstrates ownership of outcomes across delivery, capability, and growth
