KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, finance, statistics, engineering, or energy planning; PhD preferred
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in research or other strategic/commercial role (i.e. market analysis, business development, strategy & planning) related to gas and LNG. Other industry experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Passionate about the gas and LNG business and the rapidly changing energy market.
  • Strong and established understanding of gas market fundamentals. Understanding of commercial operations, business models and strategies
  • Experience of using and developing gas or power market models to deliver short- and/or long-term commodity forecasts.
  • Deep industry knowledge and coaching experience to help develop a high performing team of talented analysts.
  • You enjoy the development and implementation of modelling and integrated scenario problem-solving.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients or senior decision makers.
  • Strong presentation skills, including presenting strategic insight to senior management and potential for public speaking engagements at industry conferences.
