Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Delivery Director with a strong background in firmware and embedded systems to lead and manage large-scale delivery programs across global clients. This strategic leadership role requires deep expertise in embedded technologies, hardware-software integration, and enterprise program management. You will be accountable for ensuring high-quality delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of complex firmware and embedded projects. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end leadership for firmware and embedded delivery programs, ensuring successful execution within time, scope, and budget. Drive strategic planning, execution, and delivery of multi-million-dollar programs involving embedded systems, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics. Act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related issues, with a strong focus on risk management and mitigation. Lead large, cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) including firmware engineers, hardware teams, and delivery managers; mentor and build a high-performing delivery organization. Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Account Managers to support business growth and expansion opportunities. Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and governance processes across programs. Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities for assigned accounts or programs. Foster strong client relationships with engineering and C-level stakeholders; serve as a trusted advisor for embedded innovation and digital transformation initiatives. Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and adoption of best practices in firmware development and delivery. Required Skills & Experience 18–20+ years of experience in IT services or product engineering, with 10+ years in program/delivery management roles. Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-scale firmware and embedded programs involving hardware-software integration. Experience managing multi-year engagements with Fortune 500 or global clients in domains like automotive, IoT, consumer electronics, or industrial automation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions at the executive level. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills. Deep understanding of firmware development lifecycle, embedded SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery models. Financial and contractual acumen including P&L ownership and governance. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. Certifications like PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / ITIL are a plus. Experience working with global delivery models (onshore, offshore, nearshore). Familiarity with embedded toolchains, RTOS, and low-level programming (C/C++). Why Join Us?
