TITLE: DIRECTOR, F&A DEVELOPMENT

We are now looking for a Director, F&A Development to join our Finance & Accounting team.
You will play a key role as a member of the finance management team, driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives. This position is a cross-functional role offering a significant opportunity to build strong collaborative networks while providing support to regional and global finance teams. This position is based at our headquarters in Helsinki.

Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategic direction: Analyzes Finance market trends and developments continuously, developing and owning F&A (Finance & Accounting) Roadmap to enhance global F&A processes and systems including Sustainability.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Define opportunities based on external insights & business needs to streamline and improve finance related processes and workflows.
  • Collaboration with Key Stakeholders: Secures commitment from and collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative F&A processes and tools in an agile way, while driving growth, profitability, productivity, and sustainability reporting initiatives. Be counterparty to develop end-to-end processes as well Sustainability reporting processes.
  • Global Alignment and Compliance: Oversees the global F&A roadmap, ensuring that programs and projects are aligned with business goals, competitive in the market, and compliant with company policies, legal requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Expert Guidance for Teams: Provides expertise, mentorship, and guidance to global and regional F&A teams, including cross-functional teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepares reports and analyses for both global and regional purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Program/Project Leadership: Leads and manages global programs and projects aimed at developing and implementing F&A processes, systems, and tools, including sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Team Leadership: Directs a global Finance Process Development team, fostering a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement and successful execution of F&A initiatives.
