DIRECTOR, FAMILY OFFICE SOLUTIONS OH: R145845 We are open to filling this position in our Houston, TX or Miami, FL location Develops new business in the ultra-high net worth (UHNW) space. Manages a client base comprised of existing, and prospective UHNW clients. Oversees the retention and growth of assigned client group, through a defined, structured, consistent service and sales model. Provides advice-driven solutions that solidify current relationships, while finding, exploring and capturing additional opportunities. Identifies UHNW prospective clients, maintains a pipeline of prospective clients, and actively works to convert UHNW prospects to clients. Cultivates and manages deep, long-term relationships with UHNW clients, acting as their trusted advisor and navigating the clients’ complex financial needs. Gains a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique family dynamics, financial goals and philanthropic aspirations through deep assessment and recapping annually with a client letter. Ensures development and implementation of customized wealth management strategies for UHNW clients. Develops tailored meeting agendas with proactive, targeted advice and a relationship timeline to fulfill client goals in the short, medium, and long term. Reviews individual account relationships to determine the banking and investment needs of clients; anticipates and creates opportunities for enhancing the client relationships. Places emphasis on relationship building and participates in development of new and integrated solutions to client needs. Brings in experts when appropriate and closes the sales. Ensures smooth delivery of new services and communicates emerging needs. Provides financial services to clients, including wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, asset management, budgeting, insurance, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and tax services. Builds relationships with internal and external partners and centers of excellence. Incorporates digital solutions and capabilities to enhance the client experience. The successful candidate will benefit from having the following competencies: 10 - 15 years or more of industry experience, including significant experience in relationship management, Trust/Fiduciary and sales specifically with UHNW clients. Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics) and MBA or JD, strongly preferred. Professional Designation/Certificate of CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM preferred. Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position. In-depth knowledge of Trust/Fiduciary, Wealth Planning, etc. Expertise of the UHNW wealth management industry, including competition, usually acquired through formal education and experience. Knowledge of investments, trust and financial consulting concepts is necessary to identify cross selling opportunities. Skills in negotiation, leadership and sales are necessary to develop the client and prospect relationships and a partner network. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Communicates difficult concepts and cooperates with others to potentially adopt a different point of view. Solid, general knowledge of all personal and complex financial planning issues.
