Responsibilities

THE ROLE OF DIRECTOR, FIELD SALES EMEA.

We currently have an opportunity for a Director, Field Sales EMEA to join our Four Seasons Corporate team in Dubai!
This role has a spilt - line reporting to: Senior Vice President, Sales and VP Commercial (EMEA). The Director of Field Sales is responsible for providing strategic leadership support to the on- property sales teams within the defined region (EMEA).
The role will focus on aligning sales strategies and tactics with the objective of improving the profitability of all goaled segments: travel industry, corporate negotiated, wholesale, group, with specific focus on increasing direct and high rated, profitable business supporting overall performance. The role will also evaluate opportunities with deployment, business development, Worldwide Sales office partnerships, event strategy & ROI. This role will work closely with VP Commercial and SVP Sales to identify retention and recruitment tactics, highlighting top regional sales talent, and support training and upskilling programs. Collaboration with all areas within the commercial team (Worldwide sales, Marketing, RM and Distribution, Digital performance, PR, Analytics) is essential.
This highly collaborative position requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. The individual must be a self-starter who is motivated and proactive in identifying gaps and opportunities and must be able to lead and engage with other internal and external team members who do not have a direct reporting relationship.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and enhance sales effectiveness across multiple properties in the region.
  • Partner with VP Commercial and SVP Sales to drive revenue growth across transient, group, and F&B/catering segments.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with global commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, RM, Digital, PR, Analytics) to optimize the hotel sales distribution strategy.
  • Guide sales teams in pre-openings and conversions, ensuring seamless transitions and successful market entries.
  • Monitor and analyze market conditions to adjust sales strategies for maximum impact.
