Career Category Finance Job Description The position will report to the AVP Corporate Finance and will be a member of Amgen’s Global Finance Leadership Team. Key responsibilities: Independently leading and managing a centralized local FP&A team that will be responsible for several key planning activities within the forecasting cycle Driving and identifying new procedures/processes or modifying existing ones which lead to improved cost effectiveness and/or appropriate quality, compliance, and standardization levels Implement standard reporting and consistent delivery across functions Developing and implementing schedules, objectives, and goals Partnering with Executive Directors and Directors in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, etc.) to support the strategic directions of the business Implementing new technology and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, productivity and/or delivery Managing a centralized Anaplan forecasting process for outside expenses Provide strategic analysis and interpretation of the financial results Training and implementation of finance policies and procedures This role requires an experienced, energetic individual with a strong finance background. The successful candidate will have proven leadership and management capability.
