As a key liaison for accounts payable and payroll processes, this leader collaborates closely with managers and senior leaders across ministries. This role assists in the facilitation of capital projects, participates in ministry‑level planning, and contributes to the development of annual budgets and long‑term strategies. The Director is also responsible for creating and managing dashboards, executing internal audit recommendations, and leading regional and ministry‑level special projects. A core responsibility includes partnering with the Providence accounting team to ensure monthly financial statements accurately represent clinical and operational performance. This position serves as a trusted advisor, communicator, and collaborator across finance and operational teams. What You'll Do: Provide financial oversight for assigned ministries in partnership with the Service Area CFO and senior operational leaders. Monitor ministry financial performance, ensuring achievement of financial, productivity, and efficiency targets. Support accurate production and review of monthly financial statements, including contractuals, net income, accruals, and clinical/operational statistics. Collaborate in the development of annual budgets and strategic financial planning for assigned ministries. Conduct budget variance analysis and partner with leaders to develop improvement plans. Coordinate monthly financial review processes with ministry administrators. Support productivity management through measurement, benchmarking, and staffing matrix implementation. Participate in ministry management meetings and contribute to operational and financial discussions. Review service‑line financials (Institutes) and support leaders in understanding economics of care delivery. Lead regional and ministry special projects and provide support for internal audit recommendations. Partner with regional finance and systemwide colleagues to share best practices and align initiatives. Support consistent financial operations and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Provide leadership that strengthens organizational understanding of finance’s role, ensuring clear and effective communication across teams.
