Digantara is seeking a highly disciplined and technically proficient Operator to support real-time operations of our ground-based telescope infrastructure for Resident Space Object (RSO) detection. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing observation schedules, monitoring system health, validating data integrity, and coordinating with mission control and subsystem leads to ensure seamless Space Situational Awareness (SSA) operations. This role is mission-critical and demands precision, situational awareness, and a strong understanding of operational workflows, IT infrastructure, remote operation systems & hardware operations. Ideal Candidate: Looking for a hands-on finance leader who can build rigour and discipline while enabling speed and scale. Someone who comes with deep expertise across corporate finance, controls, compliance, and FP&A, and has successfully partnered with founders and business leaders in high-growth, complex environments. Responsibilities: 1. Corporate Finance, Controls & Compliance Own financial accounting, audits, tax, and statutory compliance - India and global. Ensure accurate and timely closing of compliance and reporting - management and investors. Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial systems. Build and own strategies from a financial perspective for global business expansion. Work with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulators as required. Drive long-term financial strategy, including runway planning and capital efficiency. Ensure strong corporate governance, compliance, and financial discipline. 2. Systems, Processes & Scale Build scalable finance processes and systems - reporting tools, controls. Build, structure and standardise financial discipline without slowing execution. Lead automation of finance operations. Build the financial and strategic strength to become a global enterprise. 3. Business Finance & FP&A Own annual operating plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts across all functions. Establish and track business matrices, margins, contribution analysis, and pricing models. Lead the budgeting and collaborate on cashflow planning with Operations, Sales, Product, and Engineering leaders. Provide decision support for new initiatives. Build robust financial structure and cost control frameworks for rapid scale. Design and track KPIs and performance dashboards for leadership and board. 4. Leadership Build and lead a high-performing finance team across corporate finance, accounting and FP&A. Develop strong second-line leaders and succession. Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and speed. Qualifications: CA Qualified with 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience Strong background in corporate and business finance Prior experience in high-growth startups, deep-tech or capital-intensive industries Hands-on experience with setting up financial structure, budgeting, planning and reporting, investor interactions.
