Job Description We are seeking an accomplished Director of Finance to join the pre-opening leadership team of an exciting new all-inclusive resort and waterpark in Phuket. This is a senior executive role for a commercially astute finance leader who thrives in high-volume, complex resort environments and brings a strong understanding of all-inclusive operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, with a functional reporting line to Corporate Finance, you will be a key strategic partner to ownership and the Executive Committee, driving financial performance, governance, and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities Act as the strategic financial business leader for the resort, supporting operational and commercial decision-making across all departments Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and insight-driven analysis Oversee all accounting, controls, compliance, risk management and statutory requirements, ensuring adherence to local and international standards Drive profit optimisation across the all-inclusive model, including F&B, entertainment, waterpark operations, retail and ancillary revenues Partner closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee to translate financial data into clear, actionable business strategies Manage owner and stakeholder relationships through strong financial governance, performance reviews and ROI narratives Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance team, building strong succession and financial capability across the resort Implement robust systems, processes and controls appropriate for a large-scale, high-volume resort and waterpark environment Support pre-opening activities, including system set-up, policies, procedures and operational readiness Qualifications About You Senior finance leader with extensive experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or upscale hospitality Proven experience in all-inclusive resorts is strongly preferred, with exposure to complex, multi-outlet operations Experience supporting or overseeing waterpark or large-scale leisure operations is a strong advantage Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance operational realities with strategic financial leadership Confident influencer and business partner, able to challenge, advise and support senior stakeholders Hands-on leader with excellent people development, communication and analytical skills International experience and pre-opening exposure highly regarded Additional Information What’s in it for you… The opportunity to join an innovative, fast-growing, international group that’s committed to not just building new hotels but building a global brand.
