POSITION DETAILS

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead Operation Eyesight’s global finance, accounting, audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance functions to safeguard assets, ensure transparent and timely reporting, and maintain good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and relevant international authorities. Serve as principal advisor to the CEO and as liaison to the Finance, Audit and Risk (“FAR”) Committee on financial integrity, internal controls, and compliance. Work closely with the Director of Fund Development and Communications, the Global Director of International Programmes, and the Director of International Finance & Administration to ensure cross-functional alignment and integrated planning across all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • CPA (CA/CGA/CMA) or international equivalent.
  • 10–12+ years of senior nonprofit/INGO finance experience with multi-jurisdiction exposure.
  • Proven leadership in financial reporting, audit, and Board-level presentations.
  • Strong command of CRA charity compliance (T3010, receipting, record-keeping).
  • Hands-on expertise in grant/fund accounting, donor reporting, and cross-border compliance (direction & control / qualifying disbursements).
  • Demonstrated success implementing internal control frameworks, antifraud programs, and financial risk management.
  • Experience liaising effectively with Board Committees, external auditors, and international partners.

WORKING CONDITIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
