As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®.   More about our team  The Director – Finance Resource covers Director of Finance vacancies and supports and trains hospital Directors of Finance as well as assisting the AVPs and VP of Finance with various projects.  Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.   How you’ll contribute  A Director – Finance Resource who excels in this role: * Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that meet requirements/objectives of the organization. * Directs and evaluates departmental operations to achieve performance and quality control objectives. * Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. * Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. * Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. * Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
