About The Role
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Global Operations plays a key role in supporting the financial health and strategic decision-making of the business. This role leads planning and analysis processes that support operational excellence, resource optimization, and business growth. The Director works cross-functionally to develop forecasts, track performance metrics, and identify financial risks and opportunities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational rigor.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the FP&A planning cycle for Operating and Capital Expenditure, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Analyze operating performance and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights and recommendations to functional and senior leaders.
  • Prepare financial models, dashboards, and reporting packages that support decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives by providing financial guidance and business case analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, and HR) to align planning efforts with business objectives.
  • Implement and improve FP&A processes, systems, and reporting tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and stewardship.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Stay informed of trends in financial planning, technology, and best practices to continuously enhance the team’s capabilities.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis or in a related field, preferably in a global or multi-business-unit environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience translating financial data into strategic insights.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage financial processes in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan).
  • Demonstrated success in leading or contributing to process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or developing staff.

Salary Range is between $160,000 - $180,000 based on experience and location.
