This role is a key member of the Finance Executive and plays an essential part in shaping the University’s financial planning, analysis and long term sustainability. This role offers a valuable development opportunity for an experienced finance leader seeking to expand their strategic influence across the institution.  In this position, you will provide high level professional and strategic advice on financial issues that impact the University’s operational and strategic priorities. You will lead Universitywide financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring strong alignment between institutional goals, financial performance and compliance requirements. This includes oversight of the annual budget cycle, long term financial modelling, scenario planning, student load projections and monitoring Commonwealth funding under the Higher Education Support Act.  The role works closely with senior leaders across Colleges and Divisions, providing expert guidance on financial performance, governance reporting and key initiatives. Leading a specialised team of finance professionals, you will foster strong connections across the Finance community to drive process improvement and data informed decision making. This secondment offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the University’s financial strategy and performance.  What’s Required   * Proven strong financial, analytical and commercial skills, including well developed problem solving and decision-making capabilities.  * Significant experience in managing the annual budgeting process in large, complex organisations.
