Description SaddleBrooke Two is seeking a Director, Food & Beverage (F&B) to join our leadership team and lead the Food & Beverage department. F&B is a cornerstone to SaddleBrooke Two’s Active Lifestyle Community that both members and guests enjoy. The Director has ultimate responsibility for all F&B operations at SaddleBrooke Two, spanning two uniquely different dining experiences and banquet facilities. The Director, Food & Beverage works to provide exceptional dining experiences to community members and guests who visit. The Director, Food & Beverage: Responsible for developing, monitoring, and reviewing a combined $3 Million expense budgets associated with the two restaurants and banquets. Sets and maintains food quality and service standards through their team of executive chefs, management, and team members. Maintains systems and processes that control inventory; reduce loss; control quality and costs; foster positive member relations; and maintain fiscal responsibility. Coordinates with Lifestyle, Theater, Golf, and other departments to extend food and beverage services to community members. Meets regularly with HOA committees and board members to resolve a variety of F&B related issues. Train, coach, appraise all F&B managers; and guides all department hires, training, and management of team members, to operate safely, provide excellent customer service, and create fantastic food. Requirements The ideal candidate has: A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive management experience in large, up-scale environment, a minimum of 2 years as a Director. Retirement community or HOA experience is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of food and beverage planning, production, presentation/service, and control. Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills. Computer skills include MS Office and Point of Sale (POS). SaddleBrooke Two restaurants are open 363 days a year, the Director is able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Our restaurants are typically closed by 9 pm. Benefits This is a full-time salaried position (exempt).
