Job Description Job Description Summary The Director, Fresh Cut Produce will be responsible for establishing standards of quality, productivity, food safety and employee safety. This position will design strategy and execution processes to deliver a best in class program within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives. Key Competencies Influence and Negotiation, Financial Acumen and Data /Analytics, Consumer/Customer Focus, Planning and Priority Setting, Communication Duties & Responsibilities Effectively set and implement a strategy for achieving operational excellence within the department (i.e. labor management, profit and sales analysis, etc.), as well as implement operational goals set at the corporate level. Develop and recommend objectives, short- and long-range production plans and programs together with set budget Develop and implement operational efficiencies, process improvements and procedures to be carried out throughout the program Design planning and production, partner with procurement and replenishment on inventory development and management and act as a liaison with both internal and external partners on matters relating to the fresh produce program Develop management systems and establish work measurement programs to develop standards for labor and product utilization Research, analyze and forecast current and future buying trends, markets, styles and products with attention to specified target market and demographics This job posting describes the general duties and responsibilities for the position. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or in a related field or four years of relevant experience At least eight years’ experience in a related industry Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and general fresh produce safety practices and procedures Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams in retail and produce initiatives Very strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Highly self-motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization Excellent organizational and time management skills Analytical and strategic thinking abilities Strong grasp of Hana Group standards, mission and core values Additional Information We offer full-time benefits, bonuses, vacation time, tuition reimbursement and career growth.
