OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a strategic, community-centered leader to join our Leadership Team as the Director,
Fund Development and Marketing & Communications. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission by
shaping how we engage with donors, partners, and the broader community.
As a member of the Leadership Team for both organizations, you will guide a talented team and
oversee all aspects of fundraising, branding, public relations, and communications—through a lens
of equity, inclusion, and relational leadership.
This position is about more than nancial sustainability. It is about uplifting stories of
resilience and
connection, creating space for community voice, and ensuring equity is at the heart of everything
we share.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles within fund development,
    communications,

or community engagement (preferably in nonprot, social services, or public sector).

  • Education: Post-secondary education in communications, nonprot management, business, or

related eld.

  • Knowledge: Inclusive marketing, fundraising ethics, donor relations, and EDI-informed

storytelling.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and lead teams, navigate complex portfolios, and

embed equity into strategy.

  • Strengths: Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills; culturally

humble and values-driven.
