FUND KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Oversee complex fund structures and SPVs, with focus on Hedge, Real Assets and Private Equity
  • Maintain deep understanding of fund administration and accounting services
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance of client portfolios
  • Ensure compliance with International GAAP/IFRS accounting principles

REGULATORY & COMPLIANCE

  • Implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and Citco policies
  • Communicate high quality standards seeking efficiencies opportunities and growing the business
  • Monitor and implement regulatory changes
  • Liaison with regulatory bodies and authorities
  • Maintain robust compliance frameworks and foster a favourable control environment to secure Citco’s assets and reputation
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and drive risk consciousness within the team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Law, Business or Finance
  • Relevant qualification as per the JFSC Table 4, such as Chartered Secretary, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Banker, STEP qualified or a qualified lawyer
  • 10-15 years relevant experience in fund services/corporate law
  • 6+ years in senior management roles, ideally in an international company
  • Strong understanding of the European tax-efficient fund structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record in client relationship management
  • Multi-jurisdictional environment experience
  • Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing business processesProject management expertise demonstrating flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

FIDUCIARY & DIRECTORSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a joint director of the Citco Jersey company and for client entities, where required.
  • Protect both client and Citco interests and safeguard governance; ensure companies are in good standing and complaint with laws and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain highest standards of fiduciary duty
  • Represent the company in negotiations with client, providers and other third parties
