Job Description Director, FX Sales, Royal Bank of Canada (US), New York, NY: High touch coverage for Institutional Foreign Exchange clients. Ability to build relationships with asset managers across the US to service their foreign exchange needs. Working with partners across Macro as well as across the broader trading floor to synergize on accounts and up tier relationships. General account management for FX clients (booking, confirming, onboarding, price tiering). Liaising with internal stakeholders, Global FX Sales, Macro Sales, Trading, IT Development. Provide US clients with FX trade execution including complex options, market commentary, and trade ideas to grow the US business at RBC. Specialized coverage of Boston region- knowledge and existing relationships with the Boston institutional clients to help RBC grow their market share in this region. Taking underperforming US accounts from other salespeople and developing them into profitable accounts. Modeling US macroeconomic data and events and presenting this to clients in a chart of the week. #LI-DNI Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $300,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Psychology or a related field and 5 years of related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Psychology and 3 years of related work experience. Must have 3 years of experience in: Drivers of the FX market, macro-economic inputs, co-dependencies, correlations with other macro products (commodities, equities and interest rates). Client relationship management, cultivating and developing relationships through strategic engagement and resource provision. Pitch trade ideas, collaborate with trading teams on execution, and safeguard the trading desk against risk. Macroeconomics and Excel modeling for foreign exchange products, including data analysis and bespoke client requests. FX currency exchange sales, executing trades across various platforms in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Applicable regulatory requirements to trade with Canadian and US clients. Must have 2 years of experience in FX trade booking and confirmation, with ability to calculate FX forward points. International travel required up to 5%. Domestic travel required up to 15%. The base salary for this job is $300,000.00 per year.
