What you'll do As part of the FPamp;A team, this role is the lead finance partner to Docusign’s Gamp;A organizations, including People, Legal, and Finance. This individual will provide financial leadership and strategic partnership to the C-suite to enable Docusign’s long-term operating strategy. This individual will manage a team responsible for partnering with the business, evaluating, and driving key metrics, while performing financial analysis and modeling, designing, and preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to management. This role is a critical input to overall strategy and will ensure financial and operating decisions are based on accurate and rigorous financial data. This position is a people manager role reporting to Sr Director, Corporate FP&A. Responsibility Act as the lead finance partner to the G&A organizations and provide financial leadership to influence overall strategy and drive alignment with the company’s overall strategic priorities Own monthly financial forecasting, reporting, and decision support for People, Legal, Finance functions, including active monitoring for risks & opportunities Lead the G&A annual planning processes to evaluate new business opportunities and strategic decisions Partner closely with Real Estate Ops and Workplace Experience and support scenario analysis across Docusign’s global office footprint, included related capital spend Team leadership to balance near-term priorities with longer-term initiatives to scale the business and finance processes Collaborate effectively (across CFO & cross-functional areas) to ensure accurate & timely reporting while influencing process improvement areas, including influencing design of FP&A planning system and areas that would benefit from systems/tools/AI Maintain and deliver insightful reporting of key metrics, including headcount, to inform decisioning and provide visibility into underlying business trends Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA or BS in business, finance, accounting or related fields 12+ years as a FPA business partner or similar position Preferred Excellent business partnering skills with a holistic view of business strategy, processes and financial objectives Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to structure and navigate complex problems and processes Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and proactive consultation skills Proven ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams Advanced GSuite skills Experience with ERP / EPM (Oracle Cloud, Adaptive Planning), BI (Tableau, Qlik) and other financial systems (Zuora, RevPro, Financial Force) Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and complex financial concepts Experience in a fast-paced scaling environment Highly organized and strategically focused with exceptional attention to detail and business acumen Practical working knowledge of Subscription-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model Proven effectiveness in a dynamic, high-growth environment, and comfortable in individual contributor and cross-functional team management roles alike Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $177,900.00 - $287,425.00 base salary Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $170,900.00 - $251,325.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
