The Role A unique opportunity to be part of Kyndryl legal team and manages legal matters pertaining to the organization. will be a leader in the legal department and empowered to drive initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal department members. This Lawyer position will support Kyndryl’s business operations in India and the Asia Pacific regions. The role involves negotiating, drafting, managing, and analysing various technology services transactions, including outsourcing, software, cloud, analytics, sales, business partner, finance, supplier, and teaming agreements with both local and multinational customers and suppliers in these regions. Additional responsibilities include providing legal advice and support on regulatory matters, operational issues, HR matters, troubled projects, litigation, investigation, and transactional support, as well as assisting management and the General Counsel. The candidate will collaborate with the General Counsel and the global legal team to support Kyndryl’s business and will also assist with compliance and ethics matters. Required Professional and Technical Expertise: Admitted to practise as an advocate in India. Minimum 15+ years post admission experience in practice as an attorney or advocate, including relevant in-house experience preferably as leader of an in-house department in a company, and/ or law firm experience. Regional and cross boarder experience preferred. Knowledge of networking, consulting services, hardware and software industries a strong plus. Experience working with IT firms. Experience working in law firms, with a focus on compliance, transactions, corporate laws and litigation. Experience working on Sales deals. Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise: Proven experience in legal management, including overseeing legal teams and operations. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, as well as business judgment Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
