SHAPE THE FUTURE OF GLOBAL STRATEGY
We’re looking for an experienced and intellectually curious Director-level Geo Economic Analyst to join our International and FX Research team. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of global economics, geopolitics, and financial markets—where your insights will help guide strategic decisions across the bank.
You’ll deliver forward-looking analysis and thought leadership to senior stakeholders, including the executive team, risk, strategy, and client-facing units. Your work will influence how the bank navigates global uncertainty and opportunity.
Geo-Economic Analysis & Forecasting : Monitor and interpret macroeconomic and geopolitical developments across Australia, Asia, the US, and other key markets. Develop scenario-based forecasts and risk assessments on trade, capital flows, sanctions, supply chains, and strategic industries
Strategic Advisory: Advise senior leadership on geo-economic risks and opportunities impacting the bank and its clients. Contribute to strategic planning and country risk frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Present insights to internal and external stakeholders, including institutional clients and media. Collaborate with economists and strategists across Global Economic & Markets Research.
Research & Publications: Produce high-quality publications, briefings, and presentations on geo-economic themes. Represent the bank at conferences, roundtables, and industry forums.
