Responsibilities
  • Lead Innovation: Develop and execute the formula and innovation strategy for Clarity & UV, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify short- and long-term opportunities.
  • Expertise & Collaboration: Serve as the key expert and point of contact for Clarity & UV product development, providing expertise in formula, texture, claims development, and regulatory compliance. Foster strong working relationships with Marketing, R&I, Operations, and external vendors.
  • Ingredient Strategy: Define ingredient strategies to drive innovation and enhance product efficacy, ensuring alignment with Kiehl’s brand values and sustainability goals.
  • Clinical Testing: Develop and implement robust clinical testing strategies, ensuring that all tests are designed to meet the highest standards of scientific rigor and effectively communicate product benefits across diverse skin tones.
  • Portfolio Management: Advocate for portfolio needs based on market trends, consumer insights, and feedback, ensuring that Kiehl’s maintains a competitive edge in the skincare market.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Orchestrate the end-to-end product development process, collaborating with all relevant departments to ensure operational excellence for both new and existing products
