The Director, Government Affairs serves as a dedicated representative based in Washington, D.C., representing Alignment Health Plan on all matters related to Medicare Advantage (MA). This position is responsible for strategically moving forward the organization’s federal public policy goals, building and maintaining relationships with members of Congress, their staff, federal agencies (particularly CMS), and industry coalitions. The role includes legislative analysis, strategy development, and advocacy execution.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage health policy focused government affairs and legislative/regulatory advocacy strategy.
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, health/public administration, or related field.
Preferred: Advanced degree.

Pay Range: $126,422.00 - $189,634.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
