The Director, Head of IFM for Asia will lead the strategic and operational delivery of Manulife’s Integrated Facilities Management program across all Asian markets. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, sustainability, and service excellence in workplace operations, ensuring alignment with global CRE standards and business objectives. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between Manulife and IFM service partners, fostering strong governance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities: Develop and execute the IFM strategy for Asia, ensuring alignment with global CRE objectives and regional local business priorities. Drive operational excellence and cost optimization across all facilities management services. Oversee IFM vendor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations. Lead governance forums with service providers and internal stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve escalations. Ensure seamless delivery of IFM services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, workplace services, and health & safety. Implement standardized processes and tools across markets to enhance consistency and efficiency. Act as the key point of contact for Local CRE leaders on IFM-related matters. Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks related to facilities management. Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with ESG goals and local regulations. Develop and manage IFM budgets for Asia, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., IFMA, RICS) preferred. Minimum 10+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple markets. Proven track record in managing large-scale IFM programs and vendor partnerships. Strong understanding of workplace operations, sustainability, and risk management. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in leveraging technology and data analytics for operational improvements.
