Description
Purpose: This role heads the Supply Chain department for our operation in Singapore, and is responsible for driving global and regional strategies to support business growth, operational resilience, and customer performance. The role leads procurement and supplier management, ensuring alignment with commercial, operational, and market requirements. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role is expected to drive digital transfor-mation, enhances end-to-end visibility, and strengthens supply chain agility, risk management, and sustainability. It also builds organisational capability, ensures trade compliance, and develops a future-ready supply chain team. Key Area of Responsibilities: Lead the Supply Chain function across both operational and strategic areas to enhance resilience, service performance, cost efficiency, and scalability in support of business growth Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, building strong succession pipelines and future-ready capabilities Establish and manage strategic supplier and partner relationships to ensure continuity, quality, competitiveness, and compliance Partner with internal stakeholders to support new product introductions, meet customer commitments, improve margins, and optimise working capital Monitor and report key supply chain performance metrics, driving corrective actions where necessary Drive digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain Champion sustainable and responsible supply chain practices Proactively identify and manage regional and global supply risks, including geopolitical and operational disruptions, and implement effective mitigation and business continuity plans Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree and relevant professional certifications is an advantage At least 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in regional and global sourcing, supplier management and procurement, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing supply chain operations and annual spent in hundreds of millions of dollar Demonstrated success in leading supply chain transformation, process improvement, and cost optimization. Lean Six Sigma certification and relevant practical experience are required for this role Strong commercial acumen and experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions and countries Sound understanding of risk management, business continuity, trade compliance, and sustainability or ESG considerations within the supply chain context Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate operational data into insights, decisions, and executive-level recommendations
