EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary degree in business, technology or health related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have 5+ year’s leadership experience in a same or similar scope. Experience working at a senior level, preferably director or above is preferred.
  • Major portfolio and operational experience with budget, procurement, and people management abilities, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing and/or sponsoring strategic projects at the provincial or national level.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, Enterprise Business Services & Chief Digital Information Officer, eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced and innovative leader for the position of Director, Health Facility IT Services. This position is the head of a provincial branch tasked with leading the planning and delivery of information technology solutions for new hospitals, urgent care centers, primary care facilities, long term care, and related health facility builds and renovations. This area also oversees a large portfolio of other IT projects supporting the strategic priorities of the Saskatchewan Health System.
This position will be a key player in building and maintaining partnerships amongst large groups of interdisciplinary stakeholders such as Saskatchewan Health Authority, SaskBuilds and Procurement, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and other partners across the province. You will play an important role in ensuring the health system has the capacity to meet the needs of Saskatchewan citizens. The person we are looking for will be good at building relationships, simplifying complex problems, having an eye for detail to maximize the value in project planning, and strong ability to be forward thinking.
