POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will lead the strategy and execution of evidence generation that demonstrates the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Incyte’s Inflammation & Autoimmune (IAI) portfolio—including Atopic Dermatitis (AD), Vitiligo, and Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS).
This highly visible role within US Medical Affairs requires deep expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence (RWE), combined with strong cross-functional leadership. The Director will provide actionable insights to guide market access, reimbursement, and product positioning—ensuring that Incyte’s therapies deliver differentiated value in a competitive and evolving healthcare landscape.

EDUCATION

  • Master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Services Research, Pharmacoeconomics, or a related field.
  • PharmD or MD with postdoctoral training in HEOR or Pharmacoeconomics will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HEOR experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO, with demonstrated success in strategy development and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong preference for expertise in Inflammation & Autoimmune diseases.
  • Proven expertise in RWE study design, execution, and integration into economic models.
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and scientific communications.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and payer landscape; familiarity with ICER value frameworks a plus.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex evidence into compelling narratives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
