As Director of Human Resources (HRBP), you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership across Lyten’s manufacturing and R&D organizations. You will partner closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and culture, ensuring the People agenda directly enables business performance and growth. This role is central to shaping Lyten’s evolving operating model, developing leadership capabilities, and building a resilient, high-performing organization that supports rapid industrial scale-up. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Business Partnering Act as a key advisor and thought partner to executive and site leadership, influencing people strategy and organizational decisions. Translate business priorities into targeted HR initiatives that strengthen capability, performance, and workforce resilience. Lead strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and change management in partnership with functional and operational leaders. Provide data-driven insights to inform planning, org effectiveness, and leadership decisions. Talent, Leadership & Organizational Development Drive the talent strategy, including succession planning, leadership development, and capability-building programs aligned with future business needs. Coach senior leaders and managers to strengthen leadership maturity, team dynamics, and effectiveness. Partner with L&D to build scalable development frameworks for technical, operational, and leadership populations. Shape performance management philosophy and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across the organization. Culture, Inclusion & Engagement Champion Lyten’s values and culture, embedding behaviors that support collaboration, innovation, safety, and accountability. Co-create engagement strategies with leaders that enhance inclusion, cross-functional ways of working, and employee voice. Leverage insights from engagement data to identify opportunities and drive targeted improvements. Employee Relations & Labour Partnership Oversee complex employee relations strategies with a focus on proactivity, fairness, and consistency. Partner with legal and labour representatives to drive positive, constructive relationships with unions and works councils. Ensure alignment of HRBP activity with Swedish labour law, collective bargaining agreements, and global People policies. People Programs & Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Centers of Excellence (COEs) across Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, L&D, and HR Operations to implement fit-for-purpose programs. Ensure People programs are integrated, scalable, and responsive to business needs. Collaborate with Workplace, Safety, and Operations teams to reinforce a holistic, safe, and high-quality employee experience. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting Manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions. Foster a high-performing, collaborative HRBP community that partners seamlessly across all sites. Manage resources and priorities to maximize strategic impact. M&A Guide HRBP teams in managing organizational change associated with recent acquisition, including cultural integration, workforce planning, communication strategies, and employee experience continuity. Qualifications & Experience University degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred). 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant HRBP responsibility within industrial, manufacturing, or high-growth environments. Deep experience with organizational design, leadership coaching, and transformation leadership. Strong knowledge of Swedish labour law and experience operating within unionized environments. Proven ability to influence senior leaders, build credibility quickly, and drive strategic people outcomes. Experience leveraging people analytics for strategic decision-making. Key Skills & Attributes Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken). Exceptional business acumen and the ability to connect people priorities to performance outcomes. Strong coaching capabilities and relationship-building skills. Skilled in navigating ambiguity and leading through change.
