  • Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, human resources, CHRP, or related field or bring equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Reporting to our VP, Human Resources, as Director, HR Operations, you will provide strategic leadership to a team of professionals supporting initiatives within Emera Corporate, Caribbean and smaller operating companies.
Your key responsibilities include:
-

Partner with business leaders to build and execute strategic HR plans including workforce planning, talent management, and total rewards.

  • Collaborate with Total Rewards and Talent Management teams to determine priorities and execution plans.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing people processes and evolving HR strategy.
  • Provide strategic oversight and development to the HR team supporting HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR communications, and Inclusion strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Anticipate organizational needs, workforce trends, and challenges to deliver impactful strategic HR solutions.
