JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Director of IT to lead and drive the strategic vision, planning, and execution of all IT operations, cybersecurity compliance, and infrastructure initiatives for Innovas and NSTXL. In this pivotal role, you will champion the alignment of technology with business objectives, streamline processes, and oversee major systems implementations.
You’ll ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that support our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing software and system lifecycles, as well as experience collaborating with third-party vendors and integrators in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) or US Government (USG) programs.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the Information Technology (IT) roadmap to align with business objectives and Department of Defense (DoD) regulatory requirements.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team, overseeing recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Streamline business processes through system development, Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs), and automation initiatives.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver enterprise IT and software projects, including vendor selection and implementation.
  • Serve as a strategic technology advisor to the executive leadership team, providing guidance on IT initiatives and investments.
  • Oversee cybersecurity policies, compliance audits, incident response, and enterprise risk management.
  • Manage internal IT assets and network operations, including company property issuance, equipment tracking, cloud infrastructure, and inventory control.
  • Act as the primary liaison with third-party auditors, compliance consultants, and government IT representatives.
  • Lead business systems projects, internal platform enhancements, and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate and manage vendors, conduct SOW assessments, and oversee third-party integration partners.
  • Design and deploy scalable technology solutions that enhance corporate operations and support business growth.
  • Manage software and system rollouts, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, operations, and program teams to ensure strategic IT alignment.
  • Support IT compliance initiatives, strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture and adherence to government standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, cybersecurity awareness, and service excellence across the organization.
