Director - Information Technology This position will be based out of our Administration Office in Dothan, AL Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-530pm; Fridays 8am-12pm with on call hours after work, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.  Responsibilities: * The Director Information Technology will provide strong technical leadership to assure the integrity, reliability, and security of the organizations server based systems, storage and networks. Oversee the development, maintenance, operation and support of all hardware and software systems for the organization. Provide direction to improve information technology delivery and efficiency for the company by constantly analyzing and evaluating the systems. Maintain hardware and software security and ensure HIPAA security compliance. Identify business requirements and apply appropriate hardware and software technologies to meet requirements. Safeguard data by having solid backup, business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Manage vendor relationships and improve service and support. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. The director will also serve as a support and backup to the Chief Information Officer during absence.  This position may require travel within or outside the catchment area. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems required. * Eight to ten years of experience in healthcare preferred along with a minimum of six to eight years IT management required as well. Demonstrated knowledge of multi-departmental operations and computer applications is preferred. * Experience in development and implementation of an Information Systems Strategic Plan and aligning goals and objectives. Demonstrated success in the development and monitoring of formal Operating and Capital Information systems Budgets, including a track record of success in managing departments to successful budget performances. Demonstrated ability to apply Information Technology in solving business problems. * This position has access to and knowledge of extremely sensitive, private and confidential materials. Ability to maintain the highest standard is required with zero tolerance. Any breach of this requirement will result in immediate termination. * Exceptional customer service and support skills expected and required. * Possess a valid Driver License with good MVR. Free from DUI and reckless driving convictions for the previous three (3) years.
