Job Description The Director, Infrastructure Asia supports the ongoing realization of investment goals of La Caisse by advising on transaction execution, assisting in the management monitoring of assets of La Caisse in Australia. Based in Sydney, Australia and reporting to the Vice President, Head – Infrastructure, CDPQ Australia, the Director is a core part of Infrastructure team and ensures ongoing support on Group's infrastructure investments. What You Will Do Contributing to the development of the business and strategic plans of CDPQ Australia for Asian infrastructure investments; Leveraging his/her network in the country/region to identify investment and partnership opportunities for CDPQ Australia Support leadership of the CDPQ Australia team providing oversight and guidance on origination and execution: Collaborate internally and externally as a key player for the execution of infrastructure investments Structuring, setting up and due diligence on transactions. Ensure rigorous monitoring of investments and recommend actions according to the defined strategies Coordinate decision making as a shareholder Develop active management and value creation strategies for assets in the portfolio Carry out research and analysis related to transactions, define investment criteria and present its recommendations to the investment committee What You Bring Master's degree in finance, MBA or CFA designation would be considered an asset; Minimum 10-15 years of total experience in investing / corporate finance / investment banking, in the infrastructure and project finance industries. Proven track record of successful deal origination, execution, and management within the infrastructure investment space. Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written), knowledge of French a plus.
